When The Surgical Institute of Alabama (SIA) approached ABM, they were just beginning their journey as Birmingham’s newest ambulatory surgery center. Boasting 15,000 square feet, 4 operating rooms, and 2 ORs, there is a wealth of promotable content and value for their future patients. A key part of SIA’s marketing strategy is highlighting the quality of surgeons who operate at their facility. This requires frequent photoshoots—not only of the doctors but also of the doctors in action at their facility. Every few weeks, our team heads out, scrubs up, and captures non-intrusive, HIPAA-compliant images that showcase the care these doctors have for their patients. Having served SIA since 2021, ABM has had the privilege of watching and supporting their tremendous growth, which continues with the addition of another recently installed OR.

The human brain is attracted to good visuals. While the average person only reads 28% of written copy, the brain is 60,000x more likely to capture a visual. High quality photos are absolutely essential when delivering the message your business is trying to portray. While stock photos have their place in a content strategy, any good marketer knows that building trust with the customer base is the goal. By delivering authentic images in a campaign, the viewer can have confidence that they are dealing with professionals and not another run of the mill business.
Whether you are focused on networking, or you want the staff features on your website to look their best, having a professional headshot for you and your staff is essential.
Are you an agent looking to ensure your listings stand out? Homes represented by high-quality real estate photos sell 32% faster than homes that use low quality, poorly lit photos.
No matter what type of business you’re in, it is important to your marketing strategy that you have photos of your work in action. Whether you work in the trades or in an operating room, our team has the experience and the know-how to showcase your services authentically.
ABM’s photographer, Derek, has been a professional photographer for over 20 years. Having been on the team at ABM for almost 6 years, Derek has captured every type of business photo you can imagine.
While the timeline for delivery is different for every client, our goal is to have your photos returned to you within 48 hours of you choosing your proofs.
This depends on the specific amount of photos that have been agreed upon. For example, if we are doing a single person’s professional headshots, typically you would get 5 fully edited proofs delivered digitally. Additional edits can be purchased for a set rate. Group shoots, such as a full staff shoot, typically will include the selected group shots and at least 1 edited photo per staff member. We will discuss the specifics and set expectations for the final package before you book your shoot.
Typically from the time you inquire for a professional shoot, we will schedule you within 1-2 weeks. At ABM, our goal is to perform services quickly and with the highest quality, and from booking to final package delivery, our intention is to be very prompt and efficient.
Apparel will be discussed before your shoot depending on the desired backdrop and overall “feel” you are going for. However, you always want to avoid anything with tight checkers and stripes, as it can cause distortion in your images.
We exist to help businesses grow.
